Transfer Window (So Far)
Best Done Deals:
Jermain Defoe - Toronto FC to Sunderland- Undisclosed Fee
Good Signing?
I think that this could be a great signing for Sunderland who have really lacked a top quality proven goal scorer this season. Jermain on average scores a goal every two games in the league, which is a clinical record, and hasn't been too bad for Toronto either! I think he will be one of the signings of the season!
Wilfried Bony- Swansea to Manchester City- £28m
Good Signing?
I am torn on whether Bony will be a good signing for the Manchester Club. He has a proven track record in the Premier League and has been one of the deadliest strikers in the league in the past few years, but he may be overwhelmed by the size of the club and his price tag, and Man City already have a number of top quality strikers such as Edin Dzeko, Sergio Aguero and Stevan Jovetic. Personally, I think that this may not be a good signing at all.
Victor Valdes - Unattached to Manchester United - Free Transfer
Good Signing?
From City to United, the ex-Barcelona goalkeeper has become the first signing of the window for the Red Devils. I think that this could be a good signing as Man Utd have really been in need of a top quality backup keeper for a while now, and Valdes fits the bill perfectly. I think that he will really challenge De Gea for that number 1 spot, and if the young Spaniard leaves then United have a top quality replacement.
